Jon "J" Hubbard has been clowning from the time he was 10 years old.
Hubbards Cubbard of Clowns includes..... He got his mom Nancy into it first, she is known
as "Sisu", in the Finnish language this means "shear guts!"
Next came his dad,John, known as "The Chief" and he was the head of the
clown fire department (in real life was on the Stoneham Ma. Fire dept. for 25 years) He
passed away in 1992 and is missed dearly. In 1987 "J" met his wife Cheryl
working at the Danvers Ma. Chuck E. Cheese restaurant (which is another story for another
day) and she started clowning as "Lady Loveheart" They were married on April 8
1989."J" and "Lady" were married August of the same year. His step-son
Daniel clowned for a few years as "Fe-Fo" and "Skittles" then grew up
and decided clowning was to silly for a teenager. Finally, at the age of 80 something, his
grandma,Eileen, started clowning under her nickname "I", which fits perfectly
with "J". She has also passed away and is missed very much. Over the years
"J" has won many awards for his make-up and costumes, as well as performance and
balloon sculpture. He holds the North east speed balloon record, being able to blow up(by
mouth) and twist 23 balloon animals in 3 minutes. "J" also transforms every year
around thanksgiving, by bleaching his hair and beard white and you can guess the rest!
"J" has about 25 characters he plays including Frosty the Snowman,
"Cookie"santa's cookie chef,King Skullyring,Peewit (a tramp),The Worlds LARGEST
Mime!, and many others.
