                             President’s Message
Well here we go again.... I need to go back to Twist and Shout in Tennessee. It was a wonderful convention. The sculptures were wonderful. CLICK HERE FOR PHOTOS
I had been there since Monday Feb 19th, and it was now Saturday the 24th. !am in the morning I was awoken out of a sound sleep (something I don't get much of at T&S) with real bad stomach pains. Hoping it would go away, I waited a while. No such luck.. I called Cheryl back home (who was awake with that stomach flu everyone has had) and told her I was going to the hospital. I called an ambulance, and then woke Patty and Royal. After hours in the emergency room, I was admitted with a large kidney stone. Wanting to make my flight home, they pushed it back up to where ever they push stones... and put in a stint to hold it there. I now have to go on the 14th (the day after our meeting) for an ultrasonic blasting of the stone. I want a frequent cutters club card, and the way I figure it 9 OR trips in 3 years, the 10th should be free!! Enough about me.

MARCH MEETING = This months meeting should be very interesting to those face painters out there. Ginny C is a face painter and airbrush artist. She will give us a beginners look into this wonderful world.

APRIL'S MEETING = Bill Leblanc from the South Shore, will be doing a "hands on" foam workshop. Bring an idea on what you would like to make, a bit of cash for the foam, and your creative hands to make it!

No new news on the church sale, as of yet, we have started to pack, and the clubs stuff will need to find homes soon.
See ya at the meeting!

Secretary’s Report
Alley 54 Meeting 2/13/07
Meeting was brought to order by Pres. J at 6:45pm.
Secretary’s Report  - accepted as written in the newsletter.

Old Business: The Church is up for sale. We could be forced to look for a new meeting location in as early as 60 days or end of June. Options for new meeting space were discussed, including the Masonic Hall in N. Reading, or Patty’s.  J will keep us posted on developments, and notify us of venue changes.

New Business: Next Month – March Alley Cleanout.  Due to the impending sale of our current meeting space, temporary storage needs to be found for Alley property stored on site.  Volunteers are needed to help sort, divide and store stuff. J offered use of part of his storage unit, if the Alley is willing to chip in on the rent for the space.

As a thank-you gesture to First Baptist Church for granting us meeting space, J asked for volunteers to help clean the church and get it ready for the sale.  There will be set work days for this activity, and J will post the particulars.

In March, we will be hosting an airbrush face painter workshop.

In April, Bill LeBlanc will be teaching us about foam props, and how to build your own. There may be a materials fee.
